Abstract: China-made commercial aircraft has achieved significant development in recent years; and the new requirement to weather service for civil aircraft flight test is also raised. Flight test weather service is nearly a new challenge in meteorological department. Weather service plays an important role in flight test security and efficiency. According to the airworthiness standards, some test flight subjects have specific regulations on meteorological conditions, such as natural icing, crosswind, high temperature and high humidity, plateau, cold, noise and so on. Weather related subjects in airworthiness standards have high restrictions on meteorological conditions. Fight test weather service need to provide explanation to the weather condition in airworthiness standards, climatic analysis on flight test related weather, seamless forecast, and clear and refine prediction conclusion to support user’s decision making. Fight test weather service, which must be timely, accurate and reliable, will improve flight test efficiency and raise business economic benefits significantly.
