Abstract: The youth constitutes a large proportion of the talents in institutes directly under the China Meteorological Administration. They are generally well-educated and have strong comprehensive capability. They are the pillar of the development of talents team in meteorological industry. Our investigation indicated that youth talents have some problems in learning political theories, career development, and dealing with pressures from work and life. This paper offers suggestions on improving the education of political theory, guiding the youth's ideological values, improving the management mechanism of youth talents, strengthening guidance in career planning, and paying attention to the mental health of youth. This paper also aims to providing reference for improving the youth’s working ability and youth talents development.
