气象卫星在火山灰云监测与扩散预测中的应用进展

Advances in the Application of Meteorological Satellites for Volcanic Ash Cloud Monitoring and Dispersion Prediction

  • 摘要: 火山喷发是一种影响气候和航空安全的自然灾害。进入21世纪以来,火山灰云的遥感监测及定量反演方法以及预测应用等都有了飞跃式发展。文中综述了气象卫星在全球火山灰云监测与扩散预测中的应用进展,聚焦于火山灰云遥感监测、火山灰云高度及微物理参数定量反演、火山SO2气体定量反演、融合卫星数据的火山灰云扩散预测等方面,可为了解火山灰云遥感监测与研究的发展历史、把握火山灰云遥感监测的国际前沿、进行国内相关研究布局提供借鉴。

     

    Abstract: Volcanic eruptions significantly impact climate and aviation safety. Since the beginning of the 21st century, remote sensing techniques for volcanic ash cloud monitoring, quantitative retrieval, and dispersion forecasting have advanced significantly. This paper reviews the progress in applying meteorological satellites to global volcanic ash cloud monitoring and dispersion forecasting, focusing on remote sensing monitoring of volcanic ash cloud, quantitative retrieval of its height, microphysical parameters and SO2, and satellite-data-integrated volcanic ash cloud dispersion forecasting. It serves as a reference for understanding the development history of volcanic ash cloud remote sensing monitoring and research, grasping international frontiers in this field, and planning related research endeavors.
