Experimental Study on Artificial Rain (Snow)Enhancement of Topographic Clouds on the Northern Slope of Qilian Mountains

  • The experimental progress and related results of the topographic cloud research experiment on the northern slope of Qilian Mountain are reviewed in this paper. The field experiment focuses on the analysis of operating weather background conditions, comprehensive observation comparison, and verification of precipitation enhancement techniques in the Qilian Mountain test area, and conducts targeted research on the particularity of topographic clouds on the northern slope of Qilian Mountain to improve precipitation efficiency of the northern slope of topographic clouds. In addition, and The field test provide scientific methods and means for accurately predicting and forecasting operating conditions and time by through research and experimentation, master the topographic cloud operation technology.
